Our banner is really very special. Created by Lucy and Tabitha Neal, they used material and buttons from the clothes of their mother and grandmother, some of which saw action campaigning back a hundred years ago. Their grandmother was a Suffragette, and the spirit of her fight back then has paved the way for us now to fight for equally important issues today. It was as a result of them making this banner that I realised this is what our campaign must be called, and so the name Trees Have Rights Too was born. This banner is now our mascot.
Watch out for our banner at various events such as the recent Climate Rush and Climate Change marches – and when you see us, come join us as we call on our governments to act and to recognise that we are all Trustees of this one glorious planet. Time for a Responsibility Revolution!
